Unit DI3 covers the following topics:

Safe Working Environment:

• Ensure a secure and hazard-free workplace.
• Address risks to health and safety.
• Safely manage work in tight or enclosed areas.

Fire and Explosion:

• Prevent fires and explosions.
• Implement fire safety measures.
• Handle hazardous materials safely.

Work Equipment and Machinery Maintenance:

• Regularly maintain and inspect equipment.
• Ensure safe operation.
• Properly use and maintain machinery.
• Follow safety guidelines.
• Safely operate mobile and lifting equipment.
• Prevent electrical hazards.
• Use electrical equipment safely.

Construction / Work at Height / Demolition / Excavation:

• Follow safety protocols during construction, demolition, and excavation.
• Address risks associated with working at heights.

Workplace Transport / Work-Related Driving:

• Ensure safe transportation within the workplace.
• Promote safe driving practices.
